As you might remember, it took every Democrat in the United States House of Representatives to pass Obamacare. The Speaker of the House, Nancy Pelosi, stated that Congress had to pass the law to see what was in it.
No one questions that we have a problem with health care. It is too expensive, and though excellent in many regards, not producing results commensurate with its costs. Obamacare is not the answer. A problem which permeates our society is that people who don’t know what they are talking about are telling those who do, what they should be doing. Bureaucrats are telling medical professionals what to do being a prime example.
You and the American people now know the result that working taxpayers, like you, are paying thousands of dollars more in premiums and receiving much less in benefits. Americans are now sending their hard-earned dollars to health care companies and basically getting nothing for their money; it is more like a gift to those companies. The only time you would get any benefits would be if you had a major health issue. Many policies now have a $5,000.00 deductible, which means that you and other Americans would have to pay the first $5,000.00 for any medical issue. This could lead millions of Americans into bankruptcy, in which two thirds of all bankruptcies are caused by medical costs.
If you or other Americans do not purchase Obamacare, then the IRS will fine you and other Americans with a tax.
I will propose to repeal Obamacare and replace it with a common sense, competitive free-market system that would lower the average premiums for you and other Americans, provide much greater benefits and keep the Federal government and the IRS out of your health care decisions.
My Democrat opponent will not support this legislative action.
